How to Make a Body Polishing Spa Treatment

This multi step skin polishing spa treatment works by helping to polish the skin gently and removing any dirt, excess oil or dead skin. This skin polish spa treatment then nourishes the skin, restoring the skins natural moisture. This spa treatment is followed by a soothing bath soak as well to help soothe and comfort the skin.


Step 1

Stir together the ride flour (also known as rice powder), turmeric and sandalwood. Slowly drizzle in the body oil, while stirring the mixture together gently.

Step 2

Apply a thin layer of the mixture over the entire body, massaging in a circular motion from the feet to the upper neck area. I suggest doing this step while in the tub to prevent any mess.

Step 3

Allow the mixture to dry, it should be around 20-30 minutes. Once it’s dry, or it’s been about 30 minutes, use a dampened cloth to gently massage the mixture off, then rinse the body off gently with cool water.

Step 4

Massage the yogurt into the skin, once again moving from the feet to the upper neck area. Wait about 20 minutes, then rinse off gently.

Step 5

Fill the bath with cool or warm water, then pour in some fresh flower petals or dry flowers. I suggest using lavender or rose, if you prefer you can even use a mixture of both. You can use as little or as much as you would like.

Step 6

Soak for about 20-30 minutes. Don’t rinse the flower water off, but just dry off gently.
