How to Practice Safe Sex
If you are at that age where sexual intercourse may pop into you life you need to be sure you now how to play it safe. If you use protection right you will prevent yourself from many harmful and even life threatening things such as sexually transmitted diseases. Here are a few things you should consider taking action on before having sex.
-
Step 1
Go out and get a box of condoms, keep one on you at all times. Condoms protect you from getting a sexually transmitted disease during intercourse. Remember to read the instructions if you’ve never put a condom on. If it isn’t put on right there is a much bigger chance it could rip or slide off.
-
Step 2
Always ask the person you are about to sleep with if they have any infections. If they are honest and reply with a yes, don’t take any chances. It isn’t worth it, not even with protection. There is a slight chance if anything goes wrong that you yourself can become infected too.
-
Step 3
Remember that you can even get a sexually transmitted disease through anal intercourse. The key is using protection. Never go without using a condom unless you and your partner have both been checked. If you are both clean and only have sex with each other, you are in the clear. I only recommend this to couples who are committed and using some sort of pregnancy prevention.
